Terms & Conditions Of Booking

Our Contract with you

A contract is formed between you and The Bull’s Head Inn – Chelmarsh, when your booking is confirmed, either in writing, by e-mail or upon arrival for a ‘walk – in’ reservation. When your booking is confirmed you are subject to these terms and conditions.

Rates & Payment

All bookings are to be secured by a deposit by credit or debit card, which varies between Guest & Self – Catering accommodation. This will be clearly explained to you when making your booking.

The rates for our rooms is as published on our website at the time of booking, or in the case of a direct booking with the Inn, as advised to you at the time of booking.

All payments for self- catering or ‘room – only’ bookings are required in full at the time of arrival. Payments for guest accommodation are usually taken upon departure.

Rates displayed on our website may change. Your rate is fixed at the time of booking and will not change to reflect a current rate.

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in is from 2pm on the day of your reservation
Early check-in may be available when circumstances allow, and if required should be arranged directly with the Inn.

Check-out is by 10.30am on the day of departure
Late check-out may be available (and may be subject to additional charge) and should be arranged directly with the Inn. All late check-out requests require at least 24 hours notice.

Guest Rooms

As standard the maximum occupancy for rooms is:

  • Double room – 2 adults or 1 adult & 1 child
  • Single room – 1 adult
  • Twin room – 2 adults or 1 adult & 1 child
  • Family room – 2 adults & 1 child (under 16)

Some may be able to accommodate guests in addition to that shown above. All enquiries should be made directly to the Inn.

Additional adults will be charged at the single occupancy rate.

If you require a cot or child bed, please contact the Inn directly. (You will need to provide your own bedding for Cot Beds)

Booking Guarantee

With regard to guest accommodation, all bookings are required to be guaranteed by a deposit taken by current credit card or debit card, and this will be confirmed by email or mail. No other monies will be taken from your card. Full payment will usually be made upon departure.

If your credit or debit card cannot be authorised you will be contacted and asked to provide a valid guarantee card. If you are unable to do this your reservation will be cancelled.

As previously stated, the balance of monies due for ‘self – catering’ or ‘room – only’ accommodation will be taken upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Late cancellation
Cancellations must be made by 2pm 24 hours before the day of your reservation. Cancellations made after this time will be charged the full rate of the reservation. The charge will be made to the card details provided at the time of booking.

No show
In the event of a no-show the full room rate of the reservation will be charged to the card details provided at the time of booking.

No Smoking Policy

All of our rooms are non-smoking. If you smoke in any of our rooms and/or are found to have interfered with any of our fire detection equipment you will be charged a minimum of £75. You may also be charged for any damage caused as a result and your reservation may be terminated immediately.

Damage to Rooms

Any damage you cause to our rooms will be charged. The card details provided at the time of booking will be charged. In severe cases you will be contacted by the inn with regards to the damage caused. A breakdown of the charges can be provided.
