‘Rumour’ are an acoustic trio, born out of the Midlands, and perform an eclectic repertoire of very tasty covers from all eras, and original material. Liz Nichols is the main vocalist, Peter Brookes on acoustic guitar, and Rob Craner provides percussion and backing vocals. Very experienced and talented musicians, so come along and enjoy another fabulous night!

VERY SORRY IAN PARKER FANS - IAN'S WIFE JUST CONTACTED US (FRIDAY 2.30PM) TO SAY THAT HE IS QUITE ILL AND WON'T BE ABLE TO PLAY TOMORROW NIGHT. HE IS BOOKED AGAIN IN JULY.
Another great night and a unique opportunity to see 'Ian Parker' performing one of his great solo gigs!! A songwriter genuinely literate, sometimes almost literary, Ian is an original craftsman, expressed through a distinctive bitter-sweet vocal delivery, and a distinctly expressive guitar-style, Ian's songs hold nothing back. This perhaps explains his growing popularity in 'The Blues World' but the truth is he isn't a blues artist, Roots music continues to form the foundation of his sound but there are no boundaries in place in his artistic journey, and the interest lies firmly in entertaining everyone present, not just the guitar fans. The great bluesy licks are still there, but the emphasis is firmly on the songs. We are delighted to welcome him back. Check out his website at www.ianparkermusic.co.uk
|Saturday 15th April||Delighted to say that one of the 'Bull's Head' favourite Bands, Freewheelin' have agreed to step in tonight instead of Ian. A great quartet playing a super selection of ‘Americana, Country & Good Old Rock n’ Roll’. Ian Sutherland on guitar and lead vocals, Mick Taylor on lead guitar, mandolin and banjo, John Rourke on guitar, Cahon, harmonica and vocals, and Brian Walford on bass guitar and vocals. Y’all come along and enjoy a wonderful night in downtown Chelmarsh, just turn right at Nashville and take the Memphis Road!|

They are back! Live music tonight with ‘The Clarksville Mountain Band’ one of the most popular nights at ‘The Bull’. Virtuoso guitar player and teacher Steve Layton, top bassist Pete Dunn and Richard Heath (Ex frontman Gravelly Hillbillies) on mandolin & vocals who has a great interaction with his audience. are returning again to ‘The Bull’ a really dynamic, professional act. They perform classics from Bob Marley, Dylan, Beatles etc. essentially in a Bluesgrass style but in their own inimitable way. These great musicians have performed at festivals and top gigs in the UK & Ireland. All of their gigs here have been superb, great party atmosphere, and this promises to be another brilliant evening - don't miss it!
|Friday 28th April
Another great guy who has been performing here at 'The Bull' for the last ten years now, very live tonight with 'Kris Dollimore', guaranteed to be busy tonight with the welcome return of Kris! Kris is well known to everyone at 'The Bull' and he is still touring constantly throughout the UK and Europe. Having played with great bands such as 'The Damned' & 'Del Amitri', Kris has performed at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, The Budokan in Tokyo, Later With Jules Holland, The Jay Leno TV Show in the States, Top Of The Pops, but since making the decision to follow his heart, he now performs solo, firmly rooted in the Blues, but very open-minded allowing many influences into his music. After 11 years, Del Amitri were back on tour again last year, and Kris had a great few months back on the road with the band. A truly great performer, another night not to be missed! Check out his website www.krisdollimore.co.uk
|Saturday 29th April||Live Music tonight with ‘City Limits’, a super band playing a great selection of not so obvious classic Americana covers, good musicians, relaxing atmosphere, just what you need at the weekend after a hard week|
|Saturday 6th May||
Live Music tonight with Sunjay Brayne, winner of the 'Wath Festival Young Performers Award' & nominee for 'BBC2's Young Folk Award', Sunjay is establishing himself quickly in the limelight. Constantly on tour, he is getting rave reviews including the comment from legendary Vin Garbutt -'He's a wizard on guitar, I think I'd call it Jazz-Folk'. Influenced by the Blues, but drawing heavily from the genres of Folk, Country & Rock, Sunjay is a real talent. At the great age of 21, he is perhaps the last of the 1960's style guitar players and deserves the many accolades from the Music Press through his sheer hard work in live entertainment, touring throughout the UK. Truly gifted, promises to be another great night!
