Just an early reminder - hate to mention Christmas at this time of year, but we have already taken party bookings for our Xmas Fayre being served at lunchtime and evenings from December 1st to 23rd. Please ask for our Christmas Menus. We also have two Christmas Cabaret nights in our dining room featuring singer Maggie O'Hara on the 5th & 19th December, at £22.95.  Maggie will perform some of the great Xmas songs in two sets before & after we serve our scrumptious Xmas Fayre. Whether it's a table for two or a party, please let us know early.

Don't forget our New Year's Eve Fancy Dress Party, Cabaret with 'She 3', dance music, superb buffet, just £10.95. Book early, last two years have been great!

Live music with 'Flaxenby' returning to 'The Bull'. This superb trio provide a timeless, contemporary lilt on Folk, the lyrical quality of the songwriting portrays an edgy, graceful energy, interwoven with experienced musical skill that creates their unique sound. Shropshire's rich tapestry provides a wonderful landscape for inspiration, and you can experienced the results of that tonight ........it's powerful stuff.

Come early to 'The Bull' tonight for the return of 'Kris Dollimore' or you may not get in! Kris is a former lead guitarist with 'The Damned' & 'Del Amitri' and his previous performances at 'The Bull' have been electric in more ways than one. Kris found Mississippi Delta & Swamp Blues a few years ago and is making big waves playing top blues gigs & festivals throughout the UK. Even if the Blues is not quite you, come to enjoy the experience of a guy who is playing his type of music as well as it can be performed. Mesmeric stuff!!

Live Music with 'Maxine Sings Motown' and a whole lotta more Soul & R&B. Sarah Ray. Maxine is a great favourite at 'The Bull', she has a dynamic voice and an infectious personality that wins over any audience from the first song that she performs. She delivers every song with total conviction and style and who can resist the brilliant magic of those Motown & Soul numbers that create one big party atmosphere. Don't miss tonight, we are partying!!!

Live Music tonight with 'Whalebone', a very talented trio who are playing regularly at the best gigs in the area. 'Whalebone' are an acoustic trio with Steve & Charlotte on guitar and Sarah on fiddle. They draw on influences from Blues to Folk to Rock, and their performances feature Celtic flavoured originals alongside classic guitar and traditional tunes. 'Rootsy......... Folky.....Funky.......

Live Music tonight with 'Greg McDonald' who hails from the South-East and is playing at 'The Bull' for the first time tonight. Greg will be performing some of his own material and covers by Dylan, Springsteen, REM, Stones, ...and some folk songs. Greg is an English singer/songwriter and acoustic performer who has been compared to Dylan Springsteen & Morrisey, and has been labelled 'A genius' by Rolling Stone. Greg has toured extensively in the UK & USA and appeared on BBC Radio 1 & 2, BBC 6music, XFM, ITV, Channel 4 and MTV, and has won many awards for his songs. Should be a great night. Welcome Greg!

'Get Back' . This is a great well established Band that create a fantastic atmosphere everywhere they perform. Their previous two visits to 'The Bull' have brought the house down, so make sure that you are early tonight. 'Get Back' play some of the best covers from the 1960's, 70's & 80'in a totally professional way, a testament to their super musicianship and years of performing together. Party night tonight !!

Live Music tonight with 'Nikki Rous'  returning as one of the great favourites at 'The Bull'. Nikki was professionally trained at a top London stage school and her voice was classically trained - then she met the guitar! She delivers her own material and classy covers of Damien Rice, Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchell etc. with a powerful, emotional, evocative interpretation that demonstrates how she lives and breathes every note and lyric. Great warmth & personality, be early!

Live Music with a 'Shebangg Acoustic Trio'. 'Shebangg' have been performing non-stop the last few months and recently secured a record deal. Tonight they deviate a little from their usual set and are playing a great set of covers that you all can relate and sing along to. Great musicianship accompanying Chrissy's powerful and versatile voice, another super evening at 'The Bull'..
