We are now offering
FREE return transport to evening diners who
live within an approximate 5 mile radius of 'The Bull's Head', e.g. Bridgnorth, Eardington, Highley, Stottesdon, Billingsley,
Cleobury etc.- subject to availability.
For Sunday
diners, we now have Tony Pearson most weeks to entertain you
on keyboards, playing a great selection of relaxing classic
tracks.
We are now also
planning our cabaret nights for 2010 and if you would like
to be included on our mailing list please leave your contact
details with a member of staff.
We are also
pleased that we are now featuring our 'Open-Mic' night every
Thursday evening If you have a talent that you believe will
entertain the discerning people of Chelmarsh and South
Shropshire, come along and give it a blast! |

Live music
tonight with 'Claire Hamill'. Claire was signed by
Island Records supremo and legend, Chris Blackwell in the
early 1970's and within months she had recorded her first
album and started appearing regularly on TV including 'Old
Grey Whistle Test' alongside 'The Who'. She developed a
reputation as a folk-rock wild child producing albums packed
with timeless songs, touring USA with Procol Harum and
partying with Rock's greats. The Kinks legend Ray Davies
then signed Claire to his own label 'Konk' and made two
albums with her which have become highly prized collectors
items. In 2003 Eva Cassidy recorded her version of Claire's
song 'You take my breath away' om her platinum selling album
' 'American Tunes' establishing Claire as a world class
singer/songwriter and today she continues to delight and
enchant. |

Live Music all
day & night in Chelmarsh. 'The Bull' are proud to be
presenting seven of their regular bands who are giving their
time for free for 'Chelfest' - a charity event that is part
of the 'Bridgnorth Music Festival'. The show is taking place
at Chelmarsh Sports & Social Club' in Chelmarsh and starts
at 12.00 noon with continuous music until 7.00pm. The
acts are Kellerik, The Stretchnecks, Scartaglen, Spillane -
Joe Public, Shebangg, Love Bug, and Rock Steady. Bouncy
Castles for the children, food and all day bar at the Social
Club. Come along with the family for a great day out, the
125 Bus service operates between Bridgnorth, Chelmarsh,
Highley, Bewdley & Kidderminster if you don't wish to drive.

with 'Spillane - Joe Public'. Joe is one of the very
popular acts around the Midlands and has just returned from
a European tour. He has recorded some very accomplished
albums and has a great interaction with his audience. Blues,
Rock, Folk, all interpreted in his own inimitable way, a very
passionate singer & guitarist
delivering a great set creating a great
atmosphere wherever he performs. |

tonight featuring Double Attraction'.
Kirsty & Alex are two incredibly talented young ladies who
formed this duo because of their mutual love and passion for
real music. Accomplished musicians on guitar and keyboards
and amazing vocal harmonies influenced by artists as diverse
as Leonard Cohen, The Dixie Chicks & The Beach Boys
producing a great repertoire of modern music. This is a
superb act who vividly demonstrate how much they enjoy their
music, these guys don't just go through the motions, they
involve you in the show and ensure that you have a great
time! |

with 'The Emma Skip Duo'. another act that has really
delighted the audience here on the last two occasions that
they have played. Emma is a superb vocalist who has
performed with top bands and at great venues including the
O2 last year. Mark skilfully accompanies on guitar and
together they make for a very enjoyable evening with their
interpretation of some very tasty covers. |

incredibly talented duo with superb vocals and virtuoso
guitar skills that combine to produce a great sound, whether
of their own composition or covers. Supported top bands in

and accolades. |

throughout the area. Great vocals, very skilled musicianship

folk with some wonderful material of their own composition.

Mick Skinner - lead guitarist of that band and applying his

tonight with 'Rich McMahon'. lead singer of Birmingham
based band 'The Teds'. Rich has become a great
favourite at 'The Bull' performing a wide range of material
from almost every genre, he's like a human juke box, you hum
it he'll play it. Recommend you buy a copy of 'The Ted's'
latest album, most of the songs are written by Rich who has
a great interaction with his audience, good guitar work and
accomplished vocalist. |

Mississippi Delta & Swamp Blues, some by the old masters and
some of his own composition. Kris is a rare talent at the
very top of the genre in which he plays and is travelling up
from his new home in Cornwall to play a few gigs, so we are
delighted to welcome him back. Kris has recently released
his new album 'Now Was The Time' and this is your
