News	Free Bus Service *For Diners !!* *Cabaret Nights*	We are now offering FREE return transport to evening diners who live within an approximate 5 mile radius of 'The Bull's Head', e.g. Bridgnorth, Eardington, Highley, Stottesdon, Billingsley, Cleobury etc.- subject to availability. For Sunday diners, we now have Tony Pearson most weeks to entertain you on keyboards, playing a great selection of relaxing classic tracks. We are now also planning our cabaret nights for 2010 and if you would like to be included on our mailing list please leave your contact details with a member of staff. We are also pleased that we are now featuring our 'Open-Mic' night every Thursday evening If you have a talent that you believe will entertain the discerning people of Chelmarsh and South Shropshire, come along and give it a blast!
Friday	27th August	Live music tonight with 'Claire Hamill'. Claire was signed by Island Records supremo and legend, Chris Blackwell in the early 1970's and within months she had recorded her first album and started appearing regularly on TV including 'Old Grey Whistle Test' alongside 'The Who'. She developed a reputation as a folk-rock wild child producing albums packed with timeless songs, touring USA with Procol Harum and partying with Rock's greats. The Kinks legend Ray Davies then signed Claire to his own label 'Konk' and made two albums with her which have become highly prized collectors items. In 2003 Eva Cassidy recorded her version of Claire's song 'You take my breath away' om her platinum selling album ' 'American Tunes' establishing Claire as a world class singer/songwriter and today she continues to delight and enchant.
Saturday	28th August	Live Music all day & night in Chelmarsh. 'The Bull' are proud to be presenting seven of their regular bands who are giving their time for free for 'Chelfest' - a charity event that is part of the 'Bridgnorth Music Festival'. The show is taking place at Chelmarsh Sports & Social Club' in Chelmarsh and starts at 12.00 noon with continuous music until 7.00pm. The acts are Kellerik, The Stretchnecks, Scartaglen, Spillane - Joe Public, Shebangg, Love Bug, and Rock Steady. Bouncy Castles for the children, food and all day bar at the Social Club. Come along with the family for a great day out, the 125 Bus service operates between Bridgnorth, Chelmarsh, Highley, Bewdley & Kidderminster if you don't wish to drive. Saturday night 'Scartaglen' are performing at 'The Bull' at 9.00pm.
Sunday	29th August	Live Irish acoustic session at 'The Bull' at 4.00pm.
Friday	10th September	Live Music tonight with 'Spillane - Joe Public'. Joe is one of the very popular acts around the Midlands and has just returned from a European tour. He has recorded some very accomplished albums and has a great interaction with his audience. Blues, Rock, Folk, all interpreted in his own inimitable way, a very passionate singer & guitarist delivering a great set creating a great atmosphere wherever he performs.
Saturday	11th September	Live music tonight featuring Double Attraction'. Kirsty & Alex are two incredibly talented young ladies who formed this duo because of their mutual love and passion for real music. Accomplished musicians on guitar and keyboards and amazing vocal harmonies influenced by artists as diverse as Leonard Cohen, The Dixie Chicks & The Beach Boys producing a great repertoire of modern music. This is a superb act who vividly demonstrate how much they enjoy their music, these guys don't just go through the motions, they involve you in the show and ensure that you have a great time!
Friday	17th September	Live music tonight with 'Maxine Sings Motown', Maxine is a dynamic one-woman act that delivers the best of Motown and other soul & R&B classics with great energy and superb vocal accomplishment. From the ballads to the real rockers she presents every song with passion and emotion.
Saturday	18th September	Live music tonight with 'Get Back'. One of the favourite bands here at 'The Bull', this very experienced trio have great musical and vocal skills and play some of the very best covers from the 1960's onwards. You will recognise every track and sing along at what is always a great evening1
Saturday	25th September	Live music tonight with 'The Emma Skip Duo'. another act that has really delighted the audience here on the last two occasions that they have played. Emma is a superb vocalist who has performed with top bands and at great venues including the O2 last year. Mark skilfully accompanies on guitar and together they make for a very enjoyable evening with their interpretation of some very tasty covers.
Saturday	2nd October	Live music tonight with 'Hickman & Quinn'. (formerly 'The Badgers') An incredibly talented duo with superb vocals and virtuoso guitar skills that combine to produce a great sound, whether of their own composition or covers. Supported top bands in the USA and throughout Europe and receiving great reviews and accolades.
Friday	8th October	Live music tonight with local band 'Shebangg'. A very talented four piece band that are well recognised and appreciated throughout the area. Great vocals, very skilled musicianship and plenty of passion and emotion with their superb set.
Saturday	9th October	Live music tonight with 'Flaxenby' who offer a very comtemporary lilt on folk with some wonderful material of their own composition. Samantha on vocals & guitar, Andy on fiddle & citerne, Chris on mandoline, guitar & vocals, produce a seamless set of songs that always delight and enchant.
Friday	15th October	Live music tonight with 'Skinner & Dean' a duo performing some timeless classics of modern music. The 'Get Back' fans will recognise Mick Skinner - lead guitarist of that band and applying his skills with this new duo.
Saturday	16th October	Live music tonight with Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Andy who has performed here several times now with 'The Elements'. Always a great set with superb guitar and vocals.
Friday	22nd October	Live music tonight with 'Rich McMahon'. lead singer of Birmingham based band 'The Teds'. Rich has become a great favourite at 'The Bull' performing a wide range of material from almost every genre, he's like a human juke box, you hum it he'll play it. Recommend you buy a copy of 'The Ted's' latest album, most of the songs are written by Rich who has a great interaction with his audience, good guitar work and accomplished vocalist.
Saturday	23rd October	Live Music with 'Scartaglen' - traditional six or seven piece Irish band, (could be more!) fiddles, banjo, whistles, mandoline, bodhran, guitars, melodion - celebrating the 60th birthday of 'Mr Magic' - Tony Hill. Should be great craic!!
Saturday	30th October	Live Music with Dave Onions, another regular favourite at 'The Bull'. Dave writes some great material covering every human emotion and experience that we can meet in life and delivers each song with great passion and drive. A unique percussive guitar style, great vocals, thoroughly nice bloke.

For those of you who haven't seen Kris before as a solo act you may have seen him in former days when he was lead guitarist with 'The Damned' and 'Del Amitri' but nowadays he performs a great set of Mississippi Delta & Swamp Blues, some by the old masters and some of his own composition. Kris is a rare talent at the very top of the genre in which he plays and is travelling up from his new home in Cornwall to play a few gigs, so we are delighted to welcome him back. Kris has recently released his new album 'Now Was The Time' and this is your opportunity to buy one,
